More than a pack. More than a show.
Givvy for Kids started with a simple belief: every child deserves a moment of joy — the kind that comes from holding a pack of cards, not knowing what's inside, and getting to find out. We built a program around that belief, and since January 2026 we've brought it to 12 card shows, giving away over 2,009 packs to kids completely free of charge.
But we've always known the hobby could reach further than a convention floor. The kids who need that moment most aren't always the ones who make it to a card show. They're in hospitals navigating hard days, in after-school programs with few resources, and in communities where something as simple as a pack of cards feels out of reach. That's where we want Givvy to go next.

Where We've Been
At every card show, we set up a prize wheel that any kid can spin — no purchase required, no strings attached. They land on a prize, pick their pack, and rip it right there on the spot. We celebrate every pull, because to a kid, every pull is the best pull. Each event is shared on YouTube (300K+ views) and Instagram so the community can see exactly where their support goes.
In September 2026, we crossed 2,000 packs given to kids — a milestone we hit live at DC CardFest. We started with a goal of 1,000. We're already past double that, and backed by 129 sponsors from across the trading card community who believe in what we're building.

Where We're Going
Our goal is to take Givvy for Kids beyond the card show floor. We're working toward bringing pack giveaways to children's hospitals, where a pack of Pokémon cards can be a small but meaningful bright spot on a hard day. We want to partner with after-school programs to introduce kids in underserved communities to the hobby in a way that's welcoming, fun, and completely free to them.
